Billy Cundiff was born on March 30, 1980, in Harlan, Iowa. He attended Drake University where he played college football as a kicker for the Bulldogs. After a successful college career, Cundiff entered the NFL Draft in 2002 and was signed by the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent.
