Davi Santos was born on February 1, 1990, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. His family moved to New York City when he was just a few months old, and he was raised in the neighborhood of Astoria in Queens. Santos attended the Professional Performing Arts School in New York, where he honed his acting skills alongside future stars like Sarah Hyland, Andrea Bowen, and Connor Paolo.

In 2008, Santos began studying a self-designed major in Cognitive Philosophy and Theatrical Arts at Macaulay Honors College at CUNY. He also trained in Shotokan Karate from a young age, eventually earning a 2nd dan black belt.
